Awareness and wisdom
a WEEK-LONG insight meditation retreat
FRIDAY, MAY 19 - FRIDAY, MAY 26, 2017
In insight meditation, we give attention moment by moment to our experience of the body, heart and mind in all their changing aspects. This steady awareness brings us into the present moment with a spacious and accepting attitude. Away from busy lives, we discover our natural warmth and a growing wisdom that shows us the way to true inner peace and happiness.
This retreat, located on the edge of the beautiful Canyons of the Ancients National Monument, will include complete instructions in insight and lovingkindness meditation, meetings with the teachers and daily talks on the teachings of the Buddha. It is suitable for both new and experienced meditators.
