GIVING

“Generosity brings happiness at every stage of its expression. We experience joy in forming the intention to be generous. We experience joy in the actual act of giving something. And we experience joy in remembering the fact that we have given.”
-Buddha

GENEROSITY/DANA

The heart of Buddhist practice is generosity.  The Buddha invited giving and kind action as an integral part of awakening and meditation practice.  It is through the teachings on dana (the Pali word for generosity) that the Buddha’s teachings have continued to flourish and benefit our own lives. We have that same opportunity today. Through our generosity, whether in the form of kind acts, volunteering or sharing our hard-earned wages, we have an opportunity to ensure that these teachings go forward and are available to those who seek them.

A receipt for of the above tax-deductible donations will be mailed or emailed to you by the end of the year.  Thank you in advance!
